Full payment and a security deposit are generally collected at the time of vehicle pickup. All pricing is in British Pounds (£) and includes VAT when applicable. 4. Car Pickup and Drop-off

Additional insurance options may be available to limit your financial liability. It is important to review these options thoroughly. You are liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess unless further coverage is purchased. Any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of insurance.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on your booking type and the notice period provided. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or missed reservations may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited vehicle uses:
- Prohibited activities include any illegal use or actions involving the vehicle. This encompasses racing, off-road driving, or any dangerous undertakings. Transporting hazardous materials is forbidden, as is sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Users must adhere to passenger and weight limits, and driving outside designated geographical areas requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Malton is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid for your rental in the previous year.
